The battles ended long ago, but inside him they continue

Yair served as a combat soldier and commander in a Paratroopers battalion command team and fought in the Second Lebanon War, a service he says he will always be proud of.

Alongside his sense of purpose, Yair still carries painful moments from the fighting: rescues under fire, loss, and images that remain etched in his memory and resurface in everyday situations.

The years have passed and the war has ended, but living with PTSD and combat trauma remains part of his life.
