PTSD

EXHIBITION

SPECIAL EDITION | DECEMBER 13th, 2022 |  SOHO NY

About

Sixty of Israel’s leading celebrities and government leaders were recruited to generate awareness about post traumatic (PTSD) wounded soldiers. This exhibit, created by Yaarit Shoshan, first opened in October 2020 at the MUZA Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.  The exhibit was next displayed at the Tel Aviv Port in May 2022, where it remained open to the public for three weeks, was widely covered by the national television channels, and was featured in major print publications and on social media.

Itzik Saidian was pictured in the original exhibition in 2020, well prior to his self-immolation and hospitalization, and was again photographed in June 2022.  Itzik's heroic and tragic struggle is known to all Israelis.  Sadly his pain is now visible for all to see and can no longer be ignored. We owe it to these heroes, and to their parents, siblings, and children to fight for their rights.

The Exhibition  Gallery

This art exhibition about Israeli soldiers suffering from PTSD was created to generate awareness and create political pressure needed to effectively lobby Israel's Knesset (parliament) to reform veterans' legal rights.  We are also recruiting Israeli businesses to generate employment opportunities for combat veterans suffering from PTSD.
