השירות השאיר צלקות. המשחק נתן להן מקום.

לוחם לשעבר בחטיבת הנח"ל ושחקן. השתתף במלחמת לבנון השנייה, ולצד הגאווה בשירות הוא מתמודד עד היום עם טראומות וצלקות שנותרו איתו מאותם ימים.

שנים לאחר מכן, המשחק בסדרה "שעת נעילה", העוסקת במלחמת יום הכיפורים, הפך עבורו לדרך לפגוש מחדש את זיכרונות השירות ולעבד חלק מהחוויות שנשא איתו.

לצידו נמצא צ'אנס, כלב השירות שלו, שאומן לזהות ולסייע בהתמודדות עם התקפי חרדה, קוצר נשימה, פלאשבקים ויקיצות בלילה. כיום אימרי פועל גם להעלאת המודעות לפוסט־טראומה ולחשיבות האבחון והטיפול.

Imri Biton

His service left scars. Acting gave them a place.

A former Nahal Brigade soldier and actor, Imri fought in the Second Lebanon War. Alongside his pride in serving, he continues to cope with trauma and lasting emotional scars.

Years later, acting in *Valley of Tears*, a series about the Yom Kippur War, helped him revisit his military memories and process his experiences.

By his side is Chance, his service dog, trained to recognize and help him cope with anxiety attacks, shortness of breath, flashbacks and nighttime awakenings. Today, Imri also raises awareness of PTSD and the importance of diagnosis and treatment.
