A decade of trying to save his eye, and a lifetime of choosing to keep moving forward

Liran served as a combat soldier in the Paratroopers Brigade. In July 1999, during an operational mission, a stone struck his face and head, severely injuring his eye.

For about a decade, he underwent numerous surgeries, examinations and treatments in an unsuccessful attempt to save his eye. The injury changed his life and led him on a long journey of coping and adapting to a new reality.

Along the way, Liran found strength in the family and friends around him. He chose to keep building his life alongside the injury, without allowing it to define him.
