"Fighting in the Tzuk Eitan operation (Gaza) resulted in a large number of gun battles with Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists. We had wounded comrades and three good friends from my team were killed. Their names are Guy Eleganti, Matan Gottlieb, and Omer Chai. May their memories be for a blessing. Spending time with my friends from the team who were with me there in battle is the best treatment for me. It made the most sense to process the combat experiences with my teammates who also lived through it. These teammates are my family. I live with them. It's a bit difficult for me to address the subject of PTSD because I don't identify myself as suffering from Post Traumatic Stress, but rather believe almost every fighter is somewhere on this continuum, some more and and some less. I would say that post-trauma is a very broad spectrum, and I'm somewhere in the middle of this spectrum. The difficulties and problems can come at any moment... without any advance warning.
Last May I married my beloved Ofri, who has been through everything with me for 10 years!
