על זרועו מקועקע המשפט “All gave some, some gave all” - ביטוי למחיר השירות ולזיכרונות שהוא נושא איתו.

The Story of
Gal Roitsztein
Photographed with: Dr. Yoaz Hendel, chair of the Reservists Party and reserve commander of the Be'eri Battalion, former Minister of Communications and Member of Knesset
Service dogs were part of his rehabilitation. Today, he trains them for others
Married to Chen and a father to Eve, Gal served in the Armored Corps, in the 188th Brigade's 71st Battalion. He lives with PTSD following his experiences evacuating wounded soldiers from the security zone in Lebanon in 1999. During the Swords of Iron War, he returned to reserve duty.
As part of his rehabilitation, Gal found a deep connection to service dogs. Today, he lectures and teaches the training of service and medical assistance dogs, while continuing his struggle for the recognition and support needed to continue his rehabilitation.
Tattooed on his arm are the words 'All gave some, some gave all,' an expression of the price of military service and the memories he carries.
