Gal currently lectures and teaches training of service dogs and medical escorts as part of his own personal rehabilitation process. Gal served in the Armoured Corps, 71st Battalion, 188th Brigade. He sufferes from post-traumatic stress due to the evacuation of fallen and wounded fighters in large battles and other severe combat events. Gal found that dogs were the solution for him, and to this day he fights for his own rights and recognition from the state for further assistance in his ongoing rehabilitation.
