Her father's war ended on the battlefield, but continued to live within the home and the next generation

Married to Ariel and a mother of seven, Bosmat is the eldest daughter of Menachem Yehuda Matos, who lives with combat trauma after being wounded in the Battle of the Chinese Farm during the Yom Kippur War.

Bosmat grew up alongside the consequences of her father's wartime experiences. Later, she realized that children who grew up in homes like hers also have a story that deserves space and a voice.

Today, Bosmat manages the Facebook group and is a member of the Second Generation of Combat Trauma Forum. She raises awareness of the long-term effects of combat trauma on families and the next generation.
