After she underwent a stabbing attack at the age of 17 and managed to escape, Or's sense of mission and desire to be a fighter in the IDF grew stronger. Or enlisted in the mixed gender combat battalion "Jordan Lions" and from this point on, her life changed.
The trauma following the stabbing incident worsened during her military service due to "daily" experiences in which she saw detainees and terrorists and even experienced attempts by terrorists to to run her over (with a car) at the military checkpoint where she served. In an attempt to put an end to her nightmares, she went to her commanding officer, who then discharged her from her unit without allowing her to say goodbye to her comrades, who had become her family. Or was sexually harassed during her military service, and her case was never prosecuted or dealt with. "I carry mental and physical injuries with me. And that's just the beginning."
